The right engineer will drive the success of power IP (Intellectual Property) and features in AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) products through leadership & coordination, resolution of technical dependencies, and achievement of schedule commits.
This is a high-visibility and widely multi-functional role, spanning pre-silicon architecture to post-silicon implementation & product delivery.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 8+ years of experience in Linux kernel and device driver development Strong expertise in Ethernet driver development and virtualization: MAC/PHY integration VirtIO-net or SR-IOV DMA, NAPI, interrupts Solid experience with Linux I/O subsystems: PCIe and device passthrough USB, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO Hands on experience with virtualization technologies: Xen (Dom0/DomU preferred) KVM / QEMU Strong proficiency in C programming Kernel debugging and profiling Experience with Yocto based BSPs for embedded Linux Strong understanding of: Memory management and cache coherency Zero copy and shared memory mechanisms Isolation and performance trade offs in virtualized systems ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent #LI-AK1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
