The role involves validating BOOTROM, Secure boot, and security‑critical firmware features to across pre‑silicon, post‑silicon & commercialization stages. Validate BOOTROM and Secure boot feature across encrypted and unencrypted flows, including integrity verification, reset handling, recovery scenarios, and early silicon bring‑up Test and validate OPTEE , ARM Trusted Firmware‑A (TF‑A) and TrustZone components , including secure services, diagnostics, logging, image/version reporting and Secure Field Upgrades Validate cryptographic services , including Signing, encryption, hashing, digital signatures, and TRNG/PRNG behavior Verify hardware‑backed security mechanisms like fuse management, key handling, device identity, and security lifecycle/state transitions Test device provisioning and attestation workflows , including reprovisioning, recovery, and secure lifecycle use cases Validate secure debug, crash dump, access control, isolation, and runtime security mechanisms , with strong emphasis on automation, stress, and negative testing Required Skill Set 4+ years of hands‑on experience in embedded systems testing, SoC/platform validation, or firmware testing – Focused in Security Strong understanding of BOOTROM, Secure boot flows, SoC architecture & Operating System Proficiency in Linux and T32 debugging Experience in test planning, automation using Python, Test execution, and defect triage Ability to work closely with firmware, hardware, OS, and security architecture teams Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
