We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of AI-powered conversational agent products that enable seamless voice and chat interactions for businesses at scale. This role is ideal for someone who understands both AI-driven customer experience products and the telephony ecosystem, and can build products that integrate deeply with voice infrastructure providers. ROLE OVERVIEW As a Product Manager, you will own the roadmap for conversational AI products focused on voice agents, virtual assistants, and automated customer interactions. You will work closely with engineering, design, AI/ML, and business teams to create scalable voice-first experiences that integrate with telephony platforms such as Exotel, Twilio, Knowlarity, Airtel IQ, or similar providers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Define and drive product strategy for conversational AI voice agents across inbound and outbound use cases. - Build products that integrate AI voice agents with telephony systems including IVR, SIP, call routing, call recording, and number provisioning. - Work on integrations with telephony providers such as Exotel, Twilio, Knowlarity, Ozonetel, Plivo, etc. - Translate customer pain points into product requirements for voice automation, agent assist, and conversational workflows. - Collaborate with ML/AI teams on speech recognition, NLP orchestration, LLM workflows, and voice bot optimization. - Define APIs, product specs, success metrics, and release plans for telephony-enabled conversational products. - Work closely with engineering on call flow architecture, latency optimization, failover design, and telephony event handling. - Analyze voice interaction data to improve call containment, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction. - Partner with sales and implementation teams to support enterprise deployments. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - 4–8 years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS, AI, voice tech, or customer communication platforms. - Strong understanding of conversational AI systems: voice bots, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, NLU/NLP workflows. - Hands-on experience working with telephony ecosystems or integrations involving providers like Exotel, Twilio, Knowlarity, Genesys, Avaya, etc. - Familiarity with telephony concepts such as SIP, IVR, DID numbers, call routing, WebRTC, APIs/webhooks. - Experience building products involving voice automation, contact center platforms, or CCaaS ecosystems is highly preferred. - Strong ability to write PRDs, define product roadmaps, and prioritize across competing business needs. - Analytical mindset with ability to interpret call metrics and conversational funnel performance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in AI-first startups or conversational commerce/customer support products. - Understanding of LLM-based orchestration for multi-turn conversational flows. - Exposure to CRM integrations such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zendesk. - Prior work with enterprise telephony deployments in India or global markets. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE - Launching scalable AI voice products that automate thousands of conversations daily. - Reducing manual intervention in customer calls through high-performing conversational agents. - Delivering robust telephony integrations that support enterprise-grade reliability and scale. This is a high-impact role for someone excited about shaping the future of AI-powered voice experiences.
