Contribute to the stability team in debugging Linux Kernel and System level issues for Qualcomm chipsets. Consolidate and represent teams analysis in core forums Manage and Guide Junior engineers in the team on the approach for analyzing complex issues Required skills -Excellent debug skills, especially in the core kernel software stability domain -Excellent knowledge of ARM architecture: (v7, v8, v9) architecture, Exception models, privilege levels (EL0-EL3), MMU / memory translation, SMP -Excellent knowledge of Linux kernel: internals, device driver model, memory management, kernel crash debugging, watchdog & hang debugging -Expert level knowledge of C -Experience of using debug tools such as JTAG -Prior experience with Android is a plus - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Excellent problem-solving skills -Experience of handling a small group of people will be plus. -Master or bachelor’s degree in CSE, ECE or EE. - 15+ years of relevant work experience Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
