If you are ready to take on the challenge of safeguarding Synopsys’ information assets from internal threats, we want to hear from you.What You’ll Be Doing:Utilizing advanced monitoring tools and techniques to detect suspicious activities, anomalies, and deviations from normal behavior within Synopsys’ networks and systems.Analyzing data logs, user activities, and access patterns to identify potential insider threats, unauthorized access, or malicious behavior.Conducting comprehensive investigations into suspected insider threats, including gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and collaborating with key stakeholders.Performing in-depth forensic analysis of security incidents to determine root causes, motives, and potential impacts on organizational operations and assets.Executing proactive threat hunting activities, leveraging cyber threat intelligence, enrichment, correlation, and attribution to uncover hidden risks.Developing and implementing proactive strategies, policies, and technical controls to mitigate insider threats and minimize security risks.Preparing detailed reports and presentations on insider threat incidents, trends, and mitigation strategies for executive management and stakeholders.Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including IT, HR, legal, and compliance—to ensure cohesive and effective responses to insider threat concerns.The Impact You Will Have:Protecting Synopsys’ and customer information from internal threats, safeguarding critical data and intellectual property.Reducing the organization’s exposure to insider risks through timely detection, swift incident response, and continuous threat hunting.Enhancing organizational resilience by developing and implementing robust insider threat mitigation strategies and controls.Enabling secure business operations and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements through thorough investigation and reporting.Driving down mean time to respond (MTTR) for insider threat incidents, contributing to operational excellence.Fostering a culture of security awareness and accountability across departments by facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing.What You’ll Need:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience through continuous learning and personal projects).5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on insider threat detection, analysis, and threat hunting.Proficiency in security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and advanced data analysis techniques.Strong understanding of insider threat indicators, behavioral analytics, and user activity monitoring.Experience with security automation, scripting, and reducing mean time to respond (MTTR) to incidents.Ability to work with large data sets and utilize log analysis tools effectively.Familiarity with legal hold processes and experience collaborating with third-party public and private organizations.Who You Are:Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly observant, with a keen investigative mindset.Excellent communicator, able to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across departments and disciplines.P
