The candidate will work on futuristic products for Wearables Candidate will work on measuring the power consumption on battery level and Rail level for the Connectivity [WLAN, BT, BTC and BLE ] use cases Candidate will be actively involved in executing and automating Power test cases for WLAN/Bluetooth test area and supporting the existing automation framework through feature additions, enhancements, and maintenance The candidate will closely work with Development team and cross functional teams to deliver quality deliverable which goes to customers following well established QA processes Experience: 12 plus years Good experience in WLAN/BT technology - protocol feature testing, power testing, system optimization Proven Experience of wireless protocols and especially IEEE 802.11 11ac/ax/be and Wi-Fi specifications (AP, STA, P2P, WPS, WFD, co-existence etc.) Should have worked on power test (battery current measurement) and any tool that are been used for same such as Monsoon Power Monitor. Good track record of doing IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi protocol stack testing in embedded environment on wireless semiconductor chips Good knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP) Hands-on experience in test automation. Hands on experience in any of the scripting languages: C++/PERL/PYTHON/TCL shell scripting and test framework development. Working knowledge in Modular Based Testing Framework Pro-active, accountable and focused; with the ability to take ownership of project requirements without constant supervision. Should have good analytical skill to root cause the problem and debug the same Must possess strong communication, documentation and organizational skills Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience. • 2+ year of work experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans, and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
