Network Escalation Engineer

Qualifications

Bachelors in STEM with or more shown experience working in network engineering Demonstrated experience working with protocols (BGP/OSPF/ISIS; EVPN, BFD, IPv4/IPv6; MPLS TE/FRR; L2/L3VPN; RSVP; Multicast (v4/v6) Experienced with real-time operating systems commonly used in Networking systems like IOS-XR, IOS-XR Experience with Linux and open-source technologies Experience with large scale routing and switching architectures Demonstrated experience fixing networking issues in live customer environments to effectively diagnose and resolve problems Preferred

Qualifications

• CCIE routing or CCIE Service Provider Familiarity with internal Cisco organization and eco-system (BU, AS, TS, PLM, Operations) Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in STEM Proven expertise with IOS XR based platform architectures i.e., Cisco 8000, NCS5500 / 5700, ASR9K, NCS540 and NCS560 Practical knowledge and experience with AI concepts and applications Why Cisco?
