Your Impact In this role, you will architect and develop Cisco's IIoT management strategy, prioritizing a streamlined user experience for network and security management to help customers effectively manage their critical industrial networks. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of resilient solutions that integrate ruggedized devices, sensors, applications, and networking equipment to collect, monitor, and analyze industrial operational data. Your work will drive innovation to improve operational efficiency, safety, and security in industrial environments by leveraging Cisco's IIoT technologies and industry best practices. Architect and lead the implementation of scalable, user-friendly management solutions tailored for OT deployments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT and OT network management, ensuring usability in industrial environments. Advocate and apply industry standards and frameworks such as the Purdue Model, IEC 62443/ISA-99, and other relevant IIoT security and interoperability standards. Oversee migration and modernization of Cisco's IIoT management portfolio toward a unified OT experience. Drive continuous improvements in performance, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency through data analytics, predictive maintenance, and automation. Mentor and guide engineering teams on IIoT best practices, security policies, and emerging technologies in industrial networking and edge computing. Engage with partners and customers to deliver customized IIoT solutions, leveraging Cisco's Solution Attached Services to accelerate adoption and deployment. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies specific to industrial environments, balancing confidentiality, availability, and safety priorities. Minimum Qualifications 17+ years of software development experience. Proven expertise in industrial networking, including experience with ruggedized devices, sensors, and industrial device management solutions. Familiarity with IIoT standards and architectures such as the Purdue Model and IEC 62443/ISA-99. Strong understanding of IT/OT convergence challenges and solutions, including network segmentation, access control, and threat protection in industrial contexts. Ability to lead complex projects involving multi-repository and multi-service codebases, with a preference for experience in automation and AI-assisted development. Proven Experience of architecting network management platforms encompassing embedded management, scalability, machine learning, policy and access control, and cloud technologies. Strong leadership and Influencing skills driving decision making with consensus building. Working across large team with mentoring, and stakeholder management capabilities. Proven track record in designing and developing distributed, scalable, highly available, low latency, and high throughput products and services. Full stack development experience with frontend technologies such as ReactJS and AngularJS, and backend technologies including Java, Python, and Golang. Familiarity with database modeling and technologies like MongoDB, Cassandra, Oracle, and Graph Databases. Knowledge of industrial protocols, real-time data processing, and edge computing is advantageous. Passion for continuous learning and self-improvement. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience working in an agile development environment. Preferred Qualifications MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 17-21 years of software development experience. 7+ years in technical lead or architect roles, specifically for management platforms covering both network device and management aspects.
